From the Trooper a number of possible routes through the lanes of Cheshire exist. Perhaps the most direct is South on A41, left to Tattenhall and then to Burwardsley. (Follow the signs for the Candle Workshops)

The pub is opposite the Workshop.

A popular pub especially with the weekend ramblers, good ale and food. Always has a selection of cask beer available.
