Quickest route is probably the A51 , A54 from Chester to Macclesfield, then the B5476 to Whaley Bridge then a short distance north on the A6 to New Mills.
The Pack Horse Inn is a two-minute drive from the centre of New Mills, on the minor road to Mellor and Marple Bridge.
